The kid was lucky that he did not have the toy with him on the tube, else it would be another Charles de whatsisname case...
Quite right too, it is outrageous that parents allow children to play with guns, frankly “toy”/replica guns should not be available in retail outlets anyway! It encourages violent and inappropriate behaviour in children without mentioning the possible confusion and thus danger with the current high levels of gun crime and terror threat!
The same is applicable for the girl riding her battery-powered Barbie car on the pavement. What on earth are parents doing encouraging children gain familiarity and enjoyment out of such a horrible pollutant, battery-powered or not, the manufacture of the batteries, kids car, the electricity all course damage to the environment! Then there is blocking of access on the pavement by the girl for less able access.

Another thing…what sort of role model is Barbie in this post-gender society, the dam thing should have been sent for recycling just for that sin!
It might be a toy gun today but it could be a real gun tomorrow. The 8-year old should be placed in care for a while until the parents learn that guns are guns, be them plastic or metal.

I agree with Anonymous. Barbie just makes our little girls and women think that they need less food and more anorirexa. Same as Baywatch which should be banned. When I was a boy in the 60's there was fatter girls.
I would suggest that it is likely that we will next hear that the crazy officer will be standing for the British Raving Monster Loony Party.
This is like something out of an Ealing comedy. But actually it is very serious, because this irresponsible cop has scared the life out of a couple of little kids. Not nice.
