Richard Curtis does it again…

Fresh from his sticking his hypocritical nose where it doesn’t belong with his Luvvie Tax Banking video, Richard Curtis has done the same to the environmental movement. I’m sure most of the Blogsphere has seen the incredibly poor taste 10:10 video so I won’t bother going into too much detail, but suffice to say the idea of blowing up kids who don’t believe what you are brainwashing them to believe wasn’t very popular.

The only reason this video has gone viral is because it basically demonstrates what people know in their hearts to be true. A lot of environmental activists - and by environmental activists I don’t mean people who write letters to the town council if somebody dumps Mercury in the local duck pond - would quite like to kill large numbers of what they consider stupid untermensch people. They want to live in their “Pristine” world unencumbered by those who disagree with them. In that respect they are no different to some of the world’s religions, Racist organisations and cults.

The Environmental movement fundamentalists however are a great deal more Malthusian in their dislike of the human race than other single issue fundamentalists. Indeed the Extreme environmental movement goes against pretty much every other religion or cult who aim to increase their followers on earth. This probably makes them the first movement since the Skoptsy Sect in Russia whose ultimate goal is practically their own extinction.

I am reminded in all this brouhaha of something P J O’Rourke said “People who enthuse breathlessly about great big issues don’t tend to like people that much”.

Cults? Surely a misprint?

The Eco-freaks, just like feminism, are an offshoot of Marxism. In the old days, socialist cant was that the inefficient, wasteful marketplace would soon be out-produced by the marvels of scientific socialism. The reality of socialist shitholes proved otherwise. So if socialism can't produce material progress then, obviously, material progress is wrong.

Rodents eat their young when under stress.

Puritans are always under stress.

Puritans eat their own young.

...Or if they're vegetarians, they can always abort or adopt out.

Summary execution of child thought-criminals*, brought to you by Richard Curtis and 10:10, in conjunction with Sony, O2 and the Guardian.

No election required.

Is it possible that there is a threat to civilisation greater than AGW?

*As practiced by Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot.

There seems to be a growing body of opinion that Richards Curtis' spot on portrayal of the right on teacher girly and on-meassage (The Office) Boss that perhaps Mr. Curtis knew exactly wht he was doing, even to the extent of naming the warmist schoolgirl Jimima while the doubter was merely 'Tracey'.
