The cuts do not go far enough

They should fire this bunch of nanny state wank stains for a start. “Council wardens and Essex Police will carry out random inspections across the county to look for evidence of illicit cigarette use”. How the fuck do you people manage to get up in the morning knowing your life is so utterly fucking pointless? Why aren’t you looking at Japanese web sites learning how to mix household chemicals to end it all painlessly in a sealed room?

"We will use the month of March to carry out inspections, offer advice and generally try and make sure people are aware of and compliant with the legislation”. Oh please PLEASE stop me. I cant wait to tell you exactly what I think of your legislation and where exactly you can insert it. Oh and I can’t wait for UNISON to make an advert about how these people are essential front line services.

This is the self same Tendring Council that stepped in to replace Liverpool when that city backed away from Brave Daves Big society bollox; no doubt funding for such shite was part of the deal.

Aaaaaaaagh! Front line service, more like c**t line service.

Do these stupid, stupid, stupid people (Council AND Police) not realise that by their very actions they are losing the argument.

Cut them, cut them all!

Some might but they cannot see past the state tit.
Most won't care as long as they get paid.
A few will truly believe they are doing a 'decent day's work for a decent day's pay'.

I think all 1 million new immigrants should be accommodated by this most idiotic of councils and it has to have the most moronic moniker I have ever heard.

I am no lawyer, but a quick look at Annex A of PACE doesn't seem to mention any stop and search powers under the Health Act.

If I was stopped I would certainly

a) ask for details of the legislative authority under which I had been stopped, and

b) ask for details of the authority underwhich a search was to be carried out.

People need to fooking wake up and realise that knowledge of their rights is the only way to stop this sort of bollocks.

Ignore above, after looking at the Health Act 2006, Schedule 2 does confer the power of entry to premises and vehicles for the purpose of inspection.

Note to self: always check the facts before posting!

As a manager in the private sector responsible for the reorganisation of the company to deal with a 50% drop in billing, I am quite happy to drop in on the council, listen to a presentation on their organisation and where they deploy their resources.

If I can't come up with 25% savings in less than 10 minutes, I won't charge my fee (two lollipops).
